Is the recruitment market seeing a sustained upturn in activity?

From all the conversations I've been having the picture is very mixed.

For most industries there's been a marked uptick in activity; but those agencies serving sectors that have been hardest hit by the pandemic are still on their knees.

Does that fit with what you're seeing?

One of the conversations I had was with Richard Herring of Trevose Partners. He was keen to open up to fellow recruiters about some of the challenges they've faced and share ideas on how others can hopefully get through this and emerge stronger.

Key topics we tackled included:

- What are your observations on the recruitment market since the pandemic started?

- What are the main issues faced by recruiters this year?

- What can recruiters do to maximise their productivity at this time?
