The Employee Engagement Trends You Need to Know [Infographic]

It found that not only are the drivers of engagement changing, but in different ways for different demographics.

Their infographic below delves into the different macro and micro trends affecting different industries, organizations, and types of employees. Some highlights include:

  • In 2013, 68% of employees were engaged. That fell to 65.3% in 2015.
  • Having leaders who are committed to making the organization a great place to work is the number one factor driving engagement.
  • 72% of men and 67.9% of women are engaged, but just 40.9% of employees of another gender identity are.
  • While 77.6% of new employees are engaged, that declines to 63.2% by year 6 of employment.
